How To Make Lights On Rc Car

Sydney & Blue Mountains

Here is already the first update of my travel diary.
man that was a chaotic start:) From that I have fully verballert that my family arrives at the international airport and not at the national, on the surrender of the Campervan and ultimately finding the first place to stay. Wearing a further 3 hours time difference to me 10min invaded before landing Sydney once that my family arrives at the international airport and not at the national, but this was still not a problem because many taxes and the so-called T-buses run almost in minutes between the two airports to and fro. As entered by 14 clock my father and brother after three-hour delay also the first time in her life to the Australian soil, we began the search of the car rental agency "Jucy" where we picked our poison green, purple campervan, with which we definitely all noticed:)

first Christmas Day breakfast in the Blue Mountains
The getting there was seen in relation to the campsite search still relatively stress-free, because shortly after 21 clock we finally have our first accommodation found after 4 times we have passed the Harbour Bridge and my father were also one or the other times had difficulty with the left. In the end, the nerves were then blank - a long flight, jet lag, fatigue and stressful traffic. But the fact that I had my beloved back to me and the first beautiful views of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House could pass all the worries. While many in Germany
spent the morning with the Holy One or other alcoholic beverage, we have looked at the same time one of the hottest cities in the world! To make Christmas so beautiful and stress free as possible, we have only once bought a Sydney ticket, with which we all day, the entire infrastructure of Sydney, including the ferries are, could use unlimited. Even if one could easily spend two to three days in Sydney we have probably taken out of this one day out the best - Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Royal Botanic Garden, The Rocks, Sydney Tower, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and a ferry ... oh look for yourself:)

My conclusion on Sydney: A beautiful city that are must-see! Grandiose skyline, unique architecture, great infrastructure, a superb location and dazzling cleanliness ... it all coming together. I say just a "must see";)
At noon's went out of it again from the beautiful City and into the nearby Blue Mountains. Even if it again was a little stressful to come out from Sydney, we made it in the evening but in the 140 km distant eastern Katoomba. Apart from the fact that in Australia anyway until Christmas at 25th and we celebrated because of the temperatures were not at all in the Christmas mood, we spent our Christmas Eve relatively un-Christmassy. Mess, a meal at an Italian restaurant and a beer joint on the camping chairs, surrounded by the mountains of the Blue Mountains, this Christmas morning has yet made a special one. Our second full day of travel
belonged entirely to the Blue Mountains. "A 1200 m high, usually heavily wooded and wild rugged plateau. Spectacular rock barrier, waterfalls, miles of canyons, vast eucalyptus forests, breathtaking views and numerous hiking trails - these are the main characteristics of this extremely rich in natural beauty of hills. Owes its name to the "Blue Mountains" to the delicate blue haze of the essential oils secreted by thousands of eucalyptus trees.

From Katoomba was the main attraction of the Blue Mountains The Three Sisters "only a stone's throw away so we could even begin our early morning three-hour hike. From the observation platform from which we had a spectacular view of the 3 sisters, it went over the "Giant Stairway" 300m down the valley. Fortunately, relatively warned at the beginning of the difficulty of these steep stairs going down, so that the road was largely free. A beautiful hike through the tropical forest has been almost us then ultimately led to the steepest railway in the world, which we transported over 52 ° slope back to top added.

The strenuous hike was then carried out a 4-hour drive followed, which has led us into the remote northeastern Cessnock. On a campsite surrounded by vineyards with pool we then spent the next night. We are now through the Hunter Valley on the way to the coast at Port Macquarie where is our next destination.
General can be used to trip so far really only say this: From the options we have, we always try to get the most out of what we now actually have succeeded quite well. Even if the beginning was a bit hectic and scheduled, then return the rest-with which we come one step closer to our goal of Cairns. The supply in the course we try to make überteurten Australia as cheap as possible, purchases are made at Coles, an Australian supermarket chain or ALDI, which is however not to be found as frequently. Thumbs up;)
Hopefully it will continue to be so interesting and beautiful, because then you will probably not have long to wait for my next entry! I hope you continue to have reflective holidays - let you go well:)

Los Boxers De John Cena

Hoho, the Christ child is coming!

It is hot, dusty, stressful, noisy and, above all anything but Christmas! , Silent Night, Holy Night booms' from the speakers, but there does not change the heart. It is a day like any other, only works that you do not something trendy and attracts. You sweat more than usual There are chickens, goats and sheep slaughtered or eaten but only with Pâte Schleimsoße. People save for months, no longer go to the doctor unless it is very urgent to celebrate a little bit to. Those who can afford to clothe his family again. Or even driving to relatives in distant villages. Chance of garlands hanging in the stores, everybody has a plastic fir. Christmas is still not a commercial business (perhaps because it also can not afford), you do not run from shop to shop around even more beautiful and more expensive gifts than last year to buy.
Even though I know Christmas under the sun, it is yet again a very different experience. For me there is never a mood and I'm actually quite happy. I can imagine that the homesickness and longing for cold, mulled wine and other snow would be too large.

Last night was the announced staff Christmas party. Although the organization was once again very chaotic, we had a great evening. In the garden were tables and a music system (which is a half hour after the start of the ceremony was finally put into service) built, we have obtained the drinks, the guests have brought something to eat. Julia and I were / had every cost until we shot some and even slightly amused by the beer, were caught by a downpour. The planned raffle we have so held in stationary applications in the hallway. We had a total of 170 gains (from pen and pad, on caps and stuffed animals to pots and a school bag). Everyone was excited. The eyes have shone. Their joy was truly from the heart. Even if the caps and sunglasses look like some horrible, they are worn with great pride. I think the evening was a resounding success and has made a lot of fun.

Today was our last working day. We have the good fortune over the holidays and New Year's Day a holiday. Christmas Eve is celebrated with a few volunteers, 25.12. I spend with the family and 26 Julia and I enjoy jet the plateau, a few days rest and chill and recharge. The last weeks we have really a lot worked, I was there for two inventories in different hospitals. These were usually 10-12 hours work, which around zipper with the heat but very. And me at the speed of work and sometimes almost to despair. In January, I'll stay in the lab, so that one of the employees can finally take a vacation. This will certainly be exciting if I am suddenly no longer additional power, but have my own area.

If I'm not exactly full of stress and try to fulfill my obligations, I think back to visiting my parents. We spent five wonderful days together. It's nice that they now know how and with whom I live here. We had a varied program with and without my family. A dinner with my boss at the Centre and two relaxing days in Lomé. Mom and dad just for me! That feels really good. THANK YOU!

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, good mood, warmth, satisfaction, and that your wishes for 2011 performance ! Go

Sour Cream Seasoning Flavored Fries Recipe

It's time to say goodbye

After I am the last Thursday finally arrived in Broome, and only once I used my time to me a little to recover from the bush, there's still much to do. After I've hiterlassen almost half of my clothes, because they were either become too dirty or too big, I had to get one new outfit. Two days are for shopping marathon First they have enough time. Of course I'm not the full two days spent in clothing stores, because there was finally some buy presents and do a little business, just everything has to be increased for 4 months in the bush.
statue of a Perlentaucher
Even if bad at 38C ° is in the Christmas mood, there is still the pre-Christmas stress, which everyone pushes in the stores for last minute gifts shopping or stock up on food for Christmas dinner, which this relatively wide fails. Quite often eaten here is the perceived turkey, any dish on the barbecue is very popular due to its proximity to the sea and the odd fish dish lands on your plate.
comes after work, the rest probably thinking ... -.- With the expectation of a few days to have free we have come to Broome, but even here we had to do work, even if it stayed here a total of only 6 hours of work, It still has me excited. It gave me the feeling that I will only accept as a volunteer here when I work. I was less disappointed with the expectation to not have to work longer recognizable from the no sensitivity that we have now worked enough
; ; and now need to finally play.

After Sunday now, the last work was done, are Max, Chris and I drove to the beach on Monday and have it be on Cable Beach to go a little good. Marica evening I was then driven a little by the place at which to take some photos of buildings, of which I have in the past, but read a lot. The last evening we have then spent a final meeting to discuss lessons learned and suggestions for improvement to the lives of the next volunteer to make a little easier. It was, after all, not only for the first time for Banana-well, that they have taken volunteers, but for Michelle, the ICYE the first year in Australia but the leads and thus one or other difficulties have turned up.

Although the time for me was not always easy here, I can say at the end that I have gained a huge experience in which the fun is not quite set.
With a good conscience, people really helped to have, I can now go into the season and the doors close, "Australian bush", to me sometime back there pushing to see what happened to the place that changed my life has!
Goodbye Banana-well - I've made a great experience;)

By plane from Broome to Perth, I was finally back in the middle of the world. Clock at 22.30, we are dead tired arrived at the airport, from which we picked up Michelle's husband. After 4 months I was finally able to once again sleep in a comfortable bed - what a luxury. As I have already mentioned in the past, I know now so appreciate some things more, the cushioned chair began at the dinner table, more than a cold shower, to the air conditioning, etc. So I then spent last night here in Michelle's house and are now waiting until it settles me in about 3 hours at the airport, so I can finally get on the plane to Sydney to Then there in the morning to get my family.

So that was the last update before I will now soon to start my journey was not, however, to say that there is to hear from me for 4 weeks now no more. I'll try nevertheless provide regularly with hopefully beautiful impressions can be - even if you sit at home in snowy Germany as soon as you unpack the trunks, turning up the heat and you look at my pictures you will find you soon dreamily in Australia again:)

We survived!

After 16 weeks, said yesterday the Australian bush, it finally Goodbye. Even though I have longed for so long against that day and, ultimately, happy am that the time is over now, I must say, however, that it was something special for me. It was as you would a long time looking forward to something, but then when the time comes, you want to stop it but not yet. For me the time here more than just a project that was needed in which my help as labor. For me it was a place where I not only learned a lot about life in an uncivilized country, but so much about myself Mario showed us with the passion around here has had a story ready for anything and it was a great honor to have learned so much from him. Whether it was once again a fishing-trip or for a change to Shelling was, it was always something unique. But he knows not only how life is going in the water, the man has it and craft just brings everything back up and running.
on the main-road blocked
she was not ...
It was the adventurous experiences on the one side, which always a relaxing Were varied, but the peace, silence and solitude on the other, but I have suggested one or the other time to think. There was probably no time in my life where I've been thinking so much about different things in the world. Things that reflect a partially self but also things that have voted me in reflecting very critical. For some it may sound quite confused and crazy - I probably would have thought 4 months ago also, but have changed character of many thinking people, and especially in many of their thinking. Some go to the monastery to find peace, I did it as unintentional found in the Australian bush, which was now well enough alone!

It is time to draw a small conclusion:
- 16 weeks Australian bush
- over 600 hours
- hundreds of mosquito bites
- lost 5 liters of blood
- many caught fish and crabs
- 12 REMOVED
kg - average temperature: 35C °
- sweat = Standard
- dozens of flying swallows
- hard work and effort

last little trip with Mario
on the Creek at the crayfish
It was Simply set a time that is hard to put into words! When I applied for over a year as a volunteer in my organization ICJA in Berlin, I dreamed of the Australia that most people know in the world - beautiful beaches, Great Barrier Reef, Sydney, great weather, etc. But ultimately I am then landed in the Australian bush and it's all turned out differently than I expected. I have learned about the life of Aboriginal people - the life as most of it live. Sedentary, but incomparable with the Australian standard of living. All the way I've always compared with other Australian volunteers to Nowhere during my stay in that Australian town could enjoy life and its benefits. Was jealous and I felt ill-treated. But ultimately I'm sitting here and I must say that these people whom I have so often envied, I should really envy, because I had an experience like no other. I do not regret to have stood by this time and am grateful that there are people that give others the opportunity to gain such experience.
I will say goodbye to this entry are officially Banana-well, but inside it will work for a while in me. You just have to look at certain things at a distance can in order to realize and understand it. There will come a time in which I will say: "At that time in the Australian Outback ..." but right now it is still too close and I still do not even seem to have really realized that it is now finally over.

All good things come to an end one week

The time is drawing to a close, there are only a few nights separate me from the so long awaited civilization, all the benefits of life which I now more than ever before do appreciate getting closer and in my head to play Every day, from the past 4 months that occurred between periods like years, but now, finally came to an end relatively quickly. A few nights I am still in my uncomfortable bed to spend. Not more often I will have the opportunity at night to watch before going to bed the spiders to as the many entangled fly wrap in their networks, until I leave in a few days then my room clean and tidy and the spiders, which have helped me all the time, to decimate the number of flies in my room, take from the ceiling. A few times I can experience the croaking society when brushing your teeth, which made the daily procedure, but always quite entertaining. It is less the great things that I absolutely must have experience in the end, there are more small, but somehow crazy things I want to hear again towards the end of deliberately, because there will soon be no more, if we jump at the end of this week, a few decades into the future. I would like to draw no summary, because the known is always at the end and on that I have reached yet, yes. Last weekend
has still taken us Paul one last time with his boat on the Indian Ocean to go to a reef for fish hunting. Chris and Max were indeed previously been fishing on the reef and therefore knew what to expect already, but for me it was something new again, because Paul has dragged me on my last fishing trip in the mangroves, which is a totally different fish experience was. So I had, fortunately, the opportunity to experience both types of fishing, for which I am very grateful to him. Cozy's then went on his boat on the rough sea, which was nevertheless a very pleasant occupation for a Sunday afternoon. It has played no role in between that we have caught no fish, it's more the atmosphere was simply to sit together in a boat, can be suspended by the waves up and down and talk.

nice catch
Somehow I pulled the fish here, already in his spell. However, it can not compare with the fish which in Germany is practiced on lakes and rivers. While in Germany catches the fish with corn, dog food or other things that we go to one of the surrounding creeks and catch our fresh bait, which was this time all the 180 small crabs large. But not only the fish liked the crab, so it was a relatively large shark, who could not get enough and has finally sought a three-piercing in the form of truncated hook the deep sea. Strangely, he has not even granted when I drew him out one time to the surface, otherwise probably would have been off my finger - sorry did not for once the glove worn.

have no idea what was of a shark,
but I've never been closer to a turn
the beginning of this week, we had volunteers also have Michelle, our mentor from ICYE, our preference list of all Send the projects that we had received some time ago. Pleased with the selection but many with nearly 30 projects, we chose our favorites, which we were promised at the beginning, when we go here in the bush, but it is unfortunately not well: (Who had us well again by the line bill do? The German state. Only seven of the projects are recognized currently and can therefore only be used as a substitute civilian service. The rest are still in the paper from the German bureaucracy and wait until they get a stamp to be approved by same. Perhaps the ICJA office in Berlin turned around something, you know, hope dies last. Once I know where I am next verschlägt out, I'll let you know it, of course. For those who are wondering if I could not stay in my project. Yes it is possible, but I have four months Busch enough and I am happy to collect two completely different experiences.

Something further is very unpleasant last Thursday, the clock's on 09/12/2010 at 16.07. I have now lost a dear friend won. He is with me every day going through life here, whether good times or bad, were it was easy for me and also never left my side. Did I protect against flies, Mosquitoes and commanded the hot sun. At his side, I always looked more mature. I did it really did, it just cut off, my beard:)

I almost could not cope, that I was able to do such a thing, but I had Just get rid of the weeds and then be ready for civilization. As well there is no way. But if you ever face such a plant it has, you can still afford you a little fun. After Chris, a week before going on his mane was and now I was Max for a short time, the volunteer with the longest beard, but only until Chris had his 3-day beard. Sorry Max:) goatee

, I would never wear in my life!
On Friday evening we had learned then have one last barbecue joint with a few people here who like to know in time way it is. Actually, always a cool thing right, for of such events always brings Mario's homemade Bourbon out of hiding and shares it with us. Together with a few ice cubes and a delicious Coke and amusing drink: a) the Australian border controls were not so extremely severe, I would even send a bottle to Germany.

The Saturday evening was just brilliant. Proposed one day I had time to spend a night on the beach with a bonfire and just everything that goes with it. This gives us Mario, however, has not recommended because at night the crocodiles here are less active and it was then just stop "only" a few unforgettable hours on the beach. To quote Max: "Why do we do something at the end"
Chris and Max at a fire
about 16:30 clock we were on our way to the beach combining good 45 minutes away from here is. In the trunk we had a few logs, hand line, beer cans, fresh crabs and homemade Stockbrotteig. More of the evening was not used to so brilliant be so. Arrived at the beach we first made a great fire, which we now from the now 16th Episode "Man vs.. Wild have "learned here in the bush. Thanks to Bear Grylls At this point, my Idol Survival, even if you always wobbles your camera crew behind:) We then use it without permission on all the matches: P

was so important then for the times well taken care, we only had to catch a bit of what to eat, but is probably a little bad can be the bait if you are at home to the freezer. Well then we still had the power to, with which fortunately was able to catch Chris in the dark a little fish, which we have used it as bait. Of course, we expected no great catch, since we are only a few meters into the sea running, and have tried our luck from there. With the hope of catching a fish on the reef rather, it has me in the darkness, however, dragged out there, and I still do not really know if I should regret it. It was the little fish hobble now worth probably more than a week in the counter-around, because I stepped on a coral? So my left foot is represented with a few cuts and I can hardly occur even - so great and the impending advance of travel time: (. Maybe even help me a small first aid kit that was given to me along the way Thank you Frank:)

our bread Stock and my feces trapped in supertan treatment
Nevertheless, there was the fish then impaled on nem floor, after I had previously taken more guts and gills out. Natural fishy taste, slightly salted water from the sea - divine:) The bread and the crab, which we have just thrown on the open fire, have shown together then a very tasty meal. A few cozy beer have the evening then simply yet perfectly rounded.

Dora, Chris and I look at the stars
Everybody knows what it is to sit in front of a fire, to drink and easy to maintain - a real comfortable atmosphere. To do this you will then pack just added the sound of the sea and leave a starlit sky, which has this evening and the odd shooting star look, you already have our atmosphere. An evening I will certainly never forget, even the plates we had two clock at night in the middle of nowhere retracted, as did not matter anymore. moist

Advent, Advent, a Büschlein burns

Time goes just so fast, I hardly come to you to inform about the latest developments.

On Sunday, we have celebrated the second Advent, and instead of burning a candle you see here increasing number of bush fires. Add to this the dust of Hamatan (who has not yet reached its peak), which makes it difficult for many people. Irritated eyes, dry cough, runny nose, more parasites. The dust is everywhere. A horror for every housewife. Although I really try to keep my room clean, will my host mom again and again and says this or that was too dirty. The fight against the fine grains is endless.

runs the project is more or less well. My work in the lab like it very much. I design the blood samples, color the microscope slide and shaker with my staff. I try to keep in good spirits, because the climate at the Centre is deteriorating day by day. The motivation of employees falls rapidly and the Christmas season does not seem necessarily to be something nice. It is worried about the future of where to take money for his children at Christmas instead of fufu or Pâte observed times rice on the table, let alone give them something. To bring a little joy in the Advent, Julia and I have started a Gnome action. Or rather say created an advent calendar. Every day get one or two employees a gift from us. There is one for each adult and a children's T-shirt, sunglasses, a bra, a pen and an exercise book. The action is well received and everyone can find some suitable Christmas gifts.
We have also planned a Christmas party. Everyone should bring something to eat, we take care of the drinks. Since there is already the first problem, because some do not see, even something to celebrate contribute. The suggestion that the meal they would eat that night at home anyway, just to bring, they react with skepticism. I have to restrain myself from time to really just accept that I do not understand everything. And many do not understand even after my year here will. The males in my mind to defend themselves in some cases violently against it. We are still organizing this celebration. And if at least half of this experience a pleasant evening, then we have achieved a lot and can increase the motivation might be a little bit. If all goes well we still organize a raffle. It's always exciting to see how people take this change. The report follows.

Some of you have noticed it states that on 1 World AIDS Day was December. Here again a big topic. There are many activities in schools, health centers, etc. Lectures, free AIDS tests and condoms, radio broadcasts. Julia and I have organized with the help of the technical director of ABCN, a training center for skilled trades, an afternoon for the apprentices. It was about in groups to teach himself a presentation, for example, about the history, transmission, prevention, pathogenesis, symptoms and treatment of HIV / AIDS. Each group has obtained enough information for this material. At the same time, it was important that students bring their own knowledge with. And although I was very skeptical at first, everything went amazingly well. The presentations were well above average (although this type of work are not here), it was discussed, asked questions, in between singing a song about AIDS, when the group was too restless. A real winner and a super great experience for us as organizers. A special highlight was the demonstration of the correct use of a condom. A carpenter apprentice had crafted a wooden penis. The demonstration of a disaster. First they wanted to open the condom with a pair of scissors then with her teeth. I never think of these problems. The group has raged cheered, booed. A funny show, if it were not so serious. I just hope now know all those present on how to do it under any circumstances!

The next big event will be visiting my parents this week. I'm already looking incredibly forward to showing them to last, how and what I live here. On the phone and by mail, many repairs can be difficult to explain. To experience it yourself and explore team is much more fun! And you really should not tasteless Fufu withheld :-)

PS: For images, it has unfortunately not enough time. Excusez-moi !

Boots Playtex Tampons

in Beagle Bay

In the past week we have escaped the work in Banana-well and have worked for Paul in Beagle Bay. Originally only two days were planned, with fast ne whole week of it - could just not get enough of the German quality work:) But before I tell you something about it, there's still fast what to Beagle Bay in general:

Beagle Bay Aboriginal community is one who in 1890 founded by the people living in the area. The aim of the foundation was the civilization of their life. Under strict faith in the people made it a mission Community to develop. Over the years, the community has continued to increase and could partially supply the livestock, agriculture, bakery and beverage plant market in Broome. Until 1970, the community under the leadership of the government and became independent. Meanwhile, Beagle Bay, about 300 residents and is daily visited by some tourists as a destination.
is currently in Beagle Bay off a renovation and refurbishment program, which aims to improve the living standard of people. The program, which is paid by the government, new houses are built and old renovated with all new technology. Paul is sometimes the manager of this project and could thus make it possible that we could participate for a week a little.

before the "Broad" office in Beagle Bay

course, we were buying before in Beagle Bay to one or other food or material to pick up, but life there have we yet not so noticed. It has been my experience that you will be stared at as a "new" first of all the indigenous - in a village where everyone knows everyone else is an alien face on the same course. I will not say that you are not welcome, but seemed quite friendly and not the looks. However, this changed everything, as Paul, we got the yellow safety vest. Generally, with everyone here either this bright yellow or orange stitching as work clothes. The eyes of the people had changed suddenly, was suddenly entangled and say hello now and then in little small talk. It was not like staring at a stranger, but had felt a bit integrated, part of a whole. Life in Beagle Bay seems to me anyway feel like a big family, every person with more or less its part in community well in and this includes the renovation company that has been operating now now 8 months in Beagle Bay and part of the community was. With the vest I was one of the company and so now thus benefiting the community. At this change, I've realized that people know to appreciate there that helped. But what was the consideration? The question I have often asked me at first. I knew that the program will be paid by the government, but I could not really imagine that people pay a cent - but this is really so! Why is it that people are simply the necessary materials and can make them yourself? As a simple answer I had to accept that they simply do not have the necessary skills. But it can at least show them how to do it yet ... but they are too lazy. And with that reply, it was the stereotype but then not put out a prejudice but true. It is sad but had to work but not in this country must be an Aborigine to make ends meet, because they receive some subsidies from the state and almost no need to pay taxes to the state. Of course, these people had a very difficult past on this continent, but in my opinion, reached after the state has no civilization and development with this behavior. The more it slows down the human urge to continually develop and own projects come true. But I will not be too far out on a limb to which I myself know too little and would like to leave here for now.

Häußer of these are being renovated
there are a total of 60 pieces Not

lazy, but highly motivated by the expectation of finally being able to perform other work on Monday so it then went to work. Paul picked us up by car and it was to drive a funny feeling to work, because we live here in the heart of our work and are the last 3 ½ months always gone to work:) Work The feeling and life separate is to me a lot rather how to work around the clock have to be, well, it's not long:)

morning meeting

Our motivation, however, we a little overwhelmed the workers there who are not lazy, but still much slower than I used to work in Germany am. As an excuse I may very well count as a temperature, which shoots at 7 on the clock already 30C °, but can get by paying these workers here expect a little more commitment yet. Well the start of the day is always very difficult when you have the day before looked too deeply into the glass. It is part of the daily routine here that the working dinner drink some beer and smokes one or the other is a bit green. I feel that people need this the end of each day to simply unwind. 've Noticed myself now that life here is not so easy in the bush, but if the real relaxation, I dare be doubted: D To the question: "Why do you manage doing here in the bush" you get with almost 100% probability of the answer: " Because the money. "Without such a good pay would probably spend a little a few years of his life. Most workers with the intention to create here a few years and then acquired with the comfortable cushion either to open their own business or go into a kind of early retirement. From year to year increases their income, which led to many workers in the proposed few years, but then quickly leave more. Although this region so many scenic Offers cash incentives, though, is the only thing most people to move here to live and work. Finally, one must leave everything behind, family, friends, hobbies, etc. In addition, one has to restrict itself to its own standard of living, because this raises the workers are not worth mentioning from that of the Indians. Is not everything so easy here in the bush ...

a normal everyday recording

The work we have done in the past week, could not be responsible because of safety and insurance reasons. Although it is not always the most meaningful work was that we have done, we were a week throughout carried out very busy. A little more order in the material stock or new facilities for the homes belonged to, among other things to our work. We were definitely not overwhelmed.

a few new houses

Apart from the hardness of the work is definitely the standard of our difference, I was right the first time the feeling that our work done is also acknowledged. Workers were interested in our volunteer year and were surprised by from when we told them that we do all this for nothing. With surprise was the fact conceived, 2x 8 weeks at a time that we live in the bush - and the of people who work here every day. Even they are wont to do it two weeks at a time to spend on a few days in Broome can. Even a simple "thanks" for these workers was not too much, what Mario falls through from always hard. He's just been one of the very old variety.

can end by saying that the week was a great experience for me in Beagle Bay. Less it was the small change to work on banana Well, again it was interacting with these indigenous people, which was the main reason this project on 3 ½ months chosen have to. It is sad that it could happen until two weeks before the end, but it's even sadder that it has allowed us Paul and Mario for whom we have worked all the time.
a perfect conclusion to the week then on Friday night in the camp of the workers with a few beers and earned a great barbecue. Which probably an evening I'll never forget:)

Lecture: Colombia dirty coal power plant in Hamburg?

on 01.12.2010 at 19.00 clock in the Rudolf Steiner House (middle 11-12, 20148 Hamburg
)
Colombia is now the second largest coal supplier for
Germany's power plants. Principal customer, E. ON, Vattenfall also
will probably relate to the coal power plant in Hamburg-Moorburg
from there.
The downside of this development the German electricity customers
been largely hidden. For the vast coal mines
be expelled people, the environment destroyed, the rights of indigenous communities
ignored, unionization of workers
treated or even prevented. While international groups
generate billions in profits, to the people of the region
helplessly watch as falling increasingly larger areas of fertile land to the mining
victim. Then there are the consequences of climate change, the cost
worldwide human life and suffering damage.
about the situation in Cerrejon, Colombia report, Jairo Fuentes
Epiayu, community leaders from the mining community included
Tamaquitos Alfredo Tovar and board member of the union
SINTRAMIENERGETICA and workers at Glencore.
The new building of many power plants - as here in Hamburg - and the
termination of the German coal subsidies in 2018 will worsen the situation further
. New coal power plants also pry the
from climate change and block the transformation of energy. With a maturity of up to 60 years
they cemented over decades high CO2 emissions.
Colombia is a strategically important partner for the German
energy industry, which continues to dirty coal instead builds on renewable energy
.

Top 10 Vacuum Cleaners By Consumer Reports

my life is beautiful

What was cool for a day please?
yesterday I got the hottest fishing-trip experienced since I came here and were so far at least have some, but that day has just topped everything.
It started at 4.45 clock in the morning, because at this inhuman time I was shaking my alarm clock out of bed. After I pulled myself purely at Ner cozy cup of tea the beautiful sunrise and filled my stomach a little, me Paul has picked up at 6 clock and it went on an unforgettable trip.

sunrise at Banana Well

have in his office in Beagle Bay, we still picked up Jeremy and with the ice cream freezer filled and then have us go to the one-hour ride to our destination. The drive through is finally gone nowhere in Laurys' property to an end - own house, right on the beach, what more could you want?
After we left the boat into the water, Jeremy and I have caught a few bait fish, while Paul and Laury have driven the car to a dry place. But 5min inattention have been enough for the boat to put sand back on. We had forgotten to push the boat out with the tide so it was a short time later there again with dry feet. With all the force we have pushed the boat about 30m gene sea, but the tides were just as quickly us and so we have capitulated yet exhausted 10 minutes and have the beer bottles just opened a little earlier than planned.

waiting for the incoming tide

Waiting for the tide was still not get bored, because Laury had in the far distance two white head - spotted eagle and called them by whistling at us. I could have no idea how he made over a kilometer away to see anything, to me they were only 200m visible before the fish, which we have placed as to attract them. In a crash, he has the fish then grabbed us about 10m away - what a big shot.

the baby would rather wait

After a 2 ½-hour break waiting Pauls' boat had finally gotten back water and off we went. Originally, we wanted to catch fish even a turtle except for Paul's boss, however, Laury had given up his spear and then we were still fishing. Only indigenous people have to catch a tortoise permission, but that day was this unique experience, unfortunately, not accessible to me. However, they have told me how they are processed and then caught. They jump off the boat with a spear on top of the turtle and then try to pull on the surface, where they then someone pulls the boat. May sound easy, perhaps, but I think it's that simple but then, because even such a harmless turtle can easily bite off someone's finger. To cook the turtle is then thrown over the open fire where she is killed before, of course, with a specific section. Apart from the taste to the meat is relatively good, probably the tank the valuable asset to which all are after. cleaned to clean the tank, you throw in just in the garden to the ants in a few days or have it fixed in just one of a virgin and throws him back into the water where the fish eat the remains would.
This time we did not manage to one of the many reefs, which are spread numerous on the coast, but the Creeks, which can only be driven at high tide by boat. Surrounded by mangroves, we then have our "hand lines" with the freshly caught bait on a hook thrown into the water and it did not cost us much time to the first fish to move to the board.

However, all the respect you are not too far from the boat leans, for in these creeks are teeming with crocodiles. Maybe someone says what the name of Malcolm Douglas, a pioneer in Kimberley, who has filmed some of its documents just in such places. Most of his crocodiles what he has in his crocodile farm in Broome hail from this region. So I did during the day also get a face, but it did not have the huge head held out of the water long enough to shoot a photo. But a crocodile us has yet paid a visit and has five feet from our boat pretty blown the bubbles to the surface, but could not itself a tasty fish lure to the surface.

Can you see the air bubbles? : D

All day we drove from Creek to Creek and have tried our luck at various locations. In between I was allowed to even Paul's 50PS Turn up strong motor, which pushes the tip of the boat pretty hard on the air. After the sun finally set behind the mangrove forests and the freezer was full of fish, we wanted to let the evening end with Laury comfortable if we were not, however, stuck by car and by boat in the sand. Was now the second time that day and also it was still dark.

sunset at the creek
with high tide

After about an hour ago was the Allräder move aggressively with some wood under the tires out of the sand and still happy we went around 8pm back on track.
to A huge thank you Paul, who has enabled me to this day only! Too few people are there in the area and conditions and really deliver what they promise, but he is one of them. I want to talk anyone here bad, it's just the experience I have ever done.

from left to right Paul, Laury, Jeremy and I

I'm looking forward to the outstanding 3 weeks, they too will be memorable, like all the experience I've gathered here;)
